Fulham FC has been granted planning permission to reinstate football pitches and enhance the BBC’s former sports ground, Motspur Park.
The club wants to use the ground as an extension of its own Motspur Park training ground which is used by its professional and academy teams.
Kingston Council granted permission for the erection of temporary buildings that would be used for changing, welfare, groundsmen’s equipment and security. CCTV, repair works to the car park and pitch enhancement works were also approved.
The club is evolving long-term plans for the site and will keep the temporary buildings for up to five years.
