International Trade Finance workshop at Kingston Business Expo

We know that UK companies are exporting more than ever and feedback from attendees at our highly successful International Trade event in March, reveal an appetite for information on financing international expansion amongst businesses in the borough. We have therefore decided to use our presence at this year’s Kingston Business Expo as an ideal opportunity to host a free International Trade Finance workshop.

Whether you are an emergent startup looking to explore overseas markets for the first time, or a seasoned exporter interested in expanding further afield, this workshop is for you.  Join us for expert advice on accessing finance to do business overseas.

Date: Wednesday 14 June   Location: Kingston University Business School, Kingston Hill Campus, Kingston, KT2 7LB

The format of the workshop is as follows:

  • 2.30pm – 2.45pm: Barry James, CEO of The Crowd Funding Centre
  • 2.45pm – 3.00pm: Wedad Kurukgy, Export Finance Manager, UK Export Finance
  • 3.00pm – 3.15pm; Paul Tappin, Senior Manager, Global Trade Finance, HSBC
  • 3.15pm – 3.30pm: Q&A

The Kingston Business Expo, now in its 5th year will be held at the Kingston University Business School. The day will offer engaging and inspirational speakers, workshops and networking opportunities as well as an insight into the latest and greatest business technology.  All the events are free to attend but you will need to register with the Kingston Business Expo through clicking here 

Kingston University is easily accessible by car and public transport, a free bus service from central Kingston and with plenty of free parking on the day.
